Augsenselab is hiring engineers to innovate in Radar Systems, specializing in SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) and GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) technologies. Candidates should have expertise in signal processing, RF systems, and radar system design, with experience in developing algorithms and implementing radar solutions for real-world applications. 

We are seeking an Embedded Hardware & SDR Engineer with expertise in Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), hardware interfacing, and power systems. The candidate will work on custom SDR designs, radar signal processing, and embedded system optimization for advanced sensing applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop embedded hardware for SDRs, radar, and RF sensing applications.

Work on high-speed interfaces (JESD204B, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C) for FPGA and RF front-end communication.

Develop and optimize power management solutions for embedded systems.

Design custom SDR architectures, including AD9361/AD9371 and FPGA-based processing.

Implement real-time signal processing and digital communication protocols.

Debug and optimize PCB layouts, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC compliance.

Integrate SDRs with GNSS, RF transceivers, and radar systems.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's/Master’s in Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in embedded hardware design and SDRs.

Proficiency in FPGA (VHDL/Verilog), embedded C/C++, and Linux device drivers.

Experience with power electronics, DC/DC converters, and low-noise power supplies.

Hands-on experience with SDR frameworks (GNU Radio, SoapySDR, UHD).

Familiarity with radar signal processing

We are looking for an Engineer with expertise in Laser Physics and Optoelectronics, with experience in frequency stabilization, linewidth control, and integrated photonics as a plus. The candidate will contribute to precision laser systems for quantum sensing, photonic signal processing, and RF applications.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize laser sources with precise frequency stabilization. Implement linewidth control techniques for high-coherence lasers. Work on integrated photonics, optical waveguides, and quantum photonics platforms. Design and test laser modulation and phase-locking techniques. Develop electro-optic and acousto-optic modulation systems. Integrate lasers with atomic sensors, interferometers, and quantum systems.​

Qualifications & Skills

Master’s/PhD in Laser Physics, Optoelectronics, or Photonics.

Experience in laser frequency locking (Pound-Drever-Hall, optical cavities, etc.).

Hands-on expertise with linewidth reduction, ultra-stable laser sources.

 Knowledge of integrated photonics (SiPh, WSe₂, GaAs, etc.) is a plus.

 Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW, and optical simulation tools.
